Today I would like to recommend a cookbook to you which is out there since 2016. I’ve been cooking a few recipes inspired by this book and thought you might enjoy it as much as I do. Just like my El Cuyo Ceviche I made a few weeks ago, this cookbook is full of Mexican specialities. It’s the second cookbook by Salt & Silver, two surfer guys from Hamburg. They quit their jobs, went traveling and made two fantastic cookbooks out of their journeys. They are a little famous here in Hamburg and opened up their own restaurant this year. If you visit Hamburg, definitely book a table at their Salt & Silver Zentrale.
I really like their cookbook called Tacos, Tequila, Tattoos because I was on almost the same journey at around the same time in Mexico. The book is full of authentic recipes and stories of their trip. If you are still looking for a Christmas present for your surfer boyfriend or Taco-loving sister that’s the cookbook you should get!
